Research Study Objective 研究目

Body Constitution is an evolving concept in Traditional Chinese Medicine regarding internal (related to the individual's own body) and external factors (related to the individual's environment) and their effect on the health of an individual. This survey seeks to understand how Body Constitution may be associated with chronic medical conditions (specifically Type II Diabetes Mellitus) in the ethnic Chinese population in Singapore. It is hoped that this may be useful in predicting an individual's vulnerability to such medical conditions and designing customised treatment plans for each individual.
